Student Social Week

• Enlightium Academy is proud to offer students the unique opportunity to participate in a variety of educational and competitive events.
• Students in grades PreK-12 have the option to participate in an Enlightium Academy social event; students who prefer not to participate because they are already participating in sports, fine arts, the Student Council, etc., simply need to submit a waiver.
• Students register for an event during Student Social Week, which will be September 18-22, 2023. Late registration is available for some events.
• Starting on September 18, parents can register, opt-out, or submit a correction in the Enlightium Parents app by selecting "Social" in the main menu.
• Students who meet attendance and participation requirements are entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card at the end of the year.
• After meeting attendance, students will have the opportunity at the end of the school year to purchase t-shirts specific to their social club.

• Families can only sign up for social activities in the Enlightium Parents App.

Yes! Every enrolled student can participate in an event.

Ideally, students will only join in one social activity to avoid being spread too thin across academics, social, and spiritual offerings.

Not at all! We know many students are already participating in social events locally or have a full schedule. 

In the Enlightium Parents app, go to the app menu, "Social," and then "Correction Form."

• Enlightium Academy provides Art Club meetings once a month.
• Students will be given art assignments to complete every month. Each month will focus on a different style or media of art.
• Late registration is available for the Art Club.

• In the Bible Memorization Club, students commit Bible verses to memory, then once a quarter, join a Zoom session to compete against other Enlightium students in a test of memorization.
• Late registration is available for the Bible memorization Club.

• Enlightium offers book clubs for Enlightium students. Students read the books on their own and discuss them with an Enlightium teacher and other students.
• Late Registration is available for the Book Clubs.

• In the Chess Club, students learn the essential strategies and tactics of a historic game and play games and participate in tournaments to compete with their peers.
• Late registration is available for the Chess Club.

  
  

• Enlightium Academy’s Equestrian Club offers students the opportunity to learn about horses and how to care for them, and to share fun horse stories.
• Late registration is available for the Equestrian Club.

• Enlightium’s Mission Program provides students in grades 9-12 with an opportunity to grow in the knowledge of the gospel and develop invaluable skills for living out their Christian faith vibrantly in today’s world.
• Late registration is NOT available for the Mission Program.

• With the Pen Pal Program, a student gets paired up with another Enlightium student of the same gender and similar grade level. Write letters, learn about each other's culture, and make a friend that will last a lifetime!
• Late registration is available for the Pen Pal Program.

• The Running Club will bring students in grades PreK-12 together to discuss hot running topics such as hydration, food choices, and finding your terrain. Meetings will be held once per month. 
• Late registration is available for the Running Club.

• The Service Club explores the concept of Christian service and creates opportunities for students to practice being a servant to those around them.
• Late registration is available for the Service Club.

• Enlightium Academy provides students with the opportunity to compete in a spelling bee with other Enlightium students.
• Late registration is available for the Spelling Bee.
