Bible Memorization Club (PreK-12)

• Students are provided Bible verses to convert to memory, and then, once a quarter, join a Zoom session to compete against other Enlightium students in a test of memorization.

• Registration for the Bible Memorization Club for the 2025-2026 school year will open during Student Social Week from September 8-12, 2025.

• Participation in the Bible Memorization Club counts as fulfilling the Student's Social Opportunity.

*This is a brief meeting to discuss future competitions and fellowship with other participants. Students can attend either check-in meeting, but do not need to attend both.

• Students must use the English Standard Version (ESV).

• Participants must have a webcam on so that the judges can view them while they speak.

• Participants must have a phone available for clear audio.

• Ensure an adult is present and will remain present for the duration of the event.

• Contestants must begin by stating the book, chapter, and verse/verses.

• Contestants must recite the passage in the ESV.

• The recitation will be worth 20 points in total.

• Contestants will have three minutes to recite their passage.

• Winners will be published on the Knowledge Base.

• Contestants will lose points for the following:

• Inserting words 

• Deleting words

• Starting over

• Asking for a prompt/clue from judges

• Using an unapproved version to recite the passage
