Annual Assessments

  • Overview
    • Standardized testing for grades Pre-K through 8 will take place on May 7th and 8th.
    • These tests help determine if students are performing at grade-appropriate and age-appropriate levels while also allowing Enlightium Academy to evaluate the effectiveness of its teaching methods.
    • The results provide insights into students’ strengths and areas for improvement but do not impact their grades.
    • Makeup days are not available for missed tests.
    • For state-specific requirements and more detailed information please visit the Knowledge Base
    • Registration for the Iowa Complete has closed. Late registration for the IXL assessment is still available. Please email ixl@enlightiumacademy.com if you would like to register for the IXL test and you have not already done so.
  • Iowa Complete
    • The Iowa Complete is a standardized achievement test that assesses students' skills in English, math, history, and science.
    • Testing will take place on Zoom over two days, and students should plan to participate on both days at their designated testing times.

    • This test is recommended for students who live in a state where standardized testing is required.
    • The Iowa Complete Parent Course must be completed by the proctor or parent before May 7th. Please visit our Knowledge Base to access the course.
    • For more details on the Iowa Complete Assessment, please visit the Knowledge Base.
  • IXL
    • The IXL assessment evaluates students' skills in English and math but is not a standardized test.
    • The IXL Spring assessment is flexible, does not require Zoom or specific testing times, and can be taken over one or two days during the fourth quarter.
    • A parent or trusted adult must be present during testing. For more details on the IXL Assessment, please visit the Knowledge Base.

  • Students can find more information in their Enlightium emails!

Bible Studies

  • Bible studies are a time for students to gather together and experience the life-transforming power of God’s Word. Our studies consist of prayer, the Word, and fellowship. This year we are going through the book of Philippians.

  • All students in grades PreK-12 are encouraged to participate in Enlightium's Bible studies. An Enlightium staff or faculty member will guide the time.

  • Invitations, including the link to the Zoom meeting, will be sent to student and parent emails, along with text messages. These invitations will go out 30 minutes before each study.

  • Students may not be able to enter the meeting if they are significantly late (15 minutes or over).

  • Bible study dates and times can be found here.

Student Chapels

  • Student chapels are a time for students to come together in worship and praise from around the nation and world, and grow in the knowledge of Christ by the power of His Spirit and Word.

  • Students get opportunities to pray, read Scripture, and even help lead songs of praise while a member of our staff or faculty delivers a message. Our messages this year focus on our theme from Philippians, Peace Beyond Understanding (Phil. 4:6–7).

  • The final chapel of the 2024-2025 school year will be held in May. Student chapel dates and times can be found here.

A Message from the Principal’s Office (The Online Program)

  • We hope you had a wonderful Easter! It is hard to believe we are into the fourth quarter, and the end of the school year will be here before we know it! The last day of the regular school year is June 6th. In order for teachers to have the ability to accept and grade revisions and corrections, the deadlines for quiz corrections and project revisions are as follows:

  • Seniors: Friday, May 16, 2025, with an end date of May 29th.

  • Grades 3-11: Friday, May 23, with an end date of June 6th.

  • Please be sure to review your upcoming due dates so that you have enough time to accommodate any quiz corrections or project revisions before the deadline. Prioritizing these tasks in their respective courses will help ensure you have the time you need to complete them. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to your teachers—they’re here to support you!

  • We encourage students to finish the school year strong and to reach out to their teachers if they have any questions or would like any support. Our teachers love connecting with students! You are also welcome to reach out to the Principal’s Office by emailing principal@enlightiumacademy.com. We are here to help!
