What is the Student Council?
 | - Enlightium Academy's Student Council provides students with the opportunity to build and strengthen communication and leadership skills in a safe and supportive environment.
- The mission of the Enlightium Academy Student Council is to provide an atmosphere of unity within the student body, causing a more enriched online school experience while building responsible leaders within our school community and promoting the values that represent godly character in all students.

Requirements to run for Student Council
 | To run for the Student Council, the student must be: - Currently enrolled full-time at Enlightium Academy
- In grades 6-12
- Have little-to-no major behavioral instances on file
- Have little-to-no major progress issues, such as low progress probation

- Application Closes: August 31st, 2025, at 11:59 pm Pacific Time
- Elections: September 2 - 4, 2025

Student Council Meeting Dates

Student Council Positions
President:
 | Any high school student is eligible to be elected as the Student Council President. Duties:- Runs meetings.
- Oversees all council activities.
- Delegates duties to everyone.
- The primary representative of the Student Council.

Vice President:
 | Any high school student is eligible to be elected as the Student Council Vice President. Duties:- Supports the President in running the Student Council.
- Collaborates on Council initiatives.
- Assumes duties in President’s absence.
- Manages and coordinates Council events.

Secretary:
 | Any high school student is eligible to be elected as the Student Council Secretary. Duties:- Keeps records of student council activities.
- Handles communications related to Council activities.
- Keeps Council members informed on upcoming meetings and agendas.
- Maintains transparency of information with Council members.

Treasurer:
 | Any high school student is eligible to be elected as a Student Council Treasurer.
Duties:- Manages the annual budget.
- Provides regular reports during Council meetings.
- Provides support during council meetings.

 | Any high school student is eligible to be elected as the Community Involvement Liaison. Duties:- Collaborates with non-profits, organizations, and community leaders.
- Coordinate service events that align with Enlightium’s mission.
- Engage students with meaningful community service projects.

Student Engagement Liaison:
 | Any high school student is eligible to be elected as the Student Engagement Liaison. Duties:- Serves as a bridge to encourage students to get actively involved in school events and showcase their involvement across social media platforms and school communications.
- Collaborates with administration to enhance the Student Council’s mission.
- Promotes unity, inclusivity, and school spirit through effective communication.

High and Middle School Liaison:
 | Students in grades 6-12 may run to be elected as the High and Middle School Liaison. Duties:- Serves as a representative for middle and high school students.
- Gather input from the student body on relevant school issues.
- Collaborates with Council members to create meaningful school activities.

Elementary and Primary School Liaison:
 | Any student in grades 6-12 may run for the Elementary and Primary School Liaison. Duties:- Serves as a representative for primary and elementary school students.
- Gather input from the student body on relevant school issues.
- Communicate events with primary and elementary school students.

How Do I Apply?
 | - Choose a role in the Student Council you’d like to run for.
- Create a video detailing why your student body should elect you to that position.
- Have a photo of the student available.
- Submit this form by August 31, 2026, at 11:59 pm Pacific Time.
