Personalized Pathway Electives

  • Personalized Pathway electives are courses that lead to a specific post-high school career or educational outcome. These classes are chosen by the student, based on the student's interest and their post-high school plan.

  • Personalized Pathway electives may include any courses above and beyond a regular credit requirement for a subject, and they are intended to provide a focus for the student's learning.

  • Example: A student is interested in pursuing engineering after graduating. They have already taken the three credits of math required for an academic diploma, so their fourth credit of math could qualify as a “personalized pathway” credit.
