Description | This chemistry course will expand upon the knowledge of the macroscopic properties and microstructure of substances, further develop students’ understanding of microstructure of substances, and teach the symbolic and mathematical world of formulas, equations, and symbols. The major concepts covered within the course are the following: measurement, atomic structure, chemical formulas and bonding, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, gases, chemical equilibrium, and organic chemistry. This course has been built around the practices published in the AP Chemistry Course and Exam Description.
