CRx (Credit Recovery) Courses

CRx courses are generally assigned when a student has failed a class and needs to retake it.

CRx courses are available to students enrolled in the Online Program and the Enlightium Prep Online Program, but not to students in the Book-Based Program.

CRx courses are alternative courses in Ignitia that allow students to test out of parts of the curriculum that they already know. Not every course has a CRx alternative.

At the beginning of every unit in a CRx course, students will take a pre-test. Based on how the student responds to questions on the pre-test, the system will automatically identify what they know and assign only the lessons they need to relearn.

The time that it takes to complete a CRx course varies, as it depends on the results of each unit’s pre-test.
