Overview
Summary | Keyboarding I is an elective to help students learn how to type. Since this course is for beginners, it assumes that the student has no prior knowledge or experience in typing. |
Description | Upon completion of the course, students will understand proper finger placement, be able to type simple words, and have a deeper understanding of the different books, characters, and ideas in the Bible. This will also prepare the student to take more advanced typing courses (Keyboarding II, Keyboarding III, and Keyboarding IV) in an effort to continually improve their typing skills as they prepare for online education and a world where typing is an essential skill in the Information Age. |

Keyboarding II

Overview
Summary | Keyboarding II is a two-unit elective that continues the development of typing skills introduced in Keyboarding I, preparing students to be more proficient in their coursework. |
Description | Upon completion of the course, students will have an even stronger knowledge of proper finger placement, be able to type common words along with short sentences and short paragraphs, and be able to type capital letters. In addition, they will become more familiar with several well-known Psalms. This will also prepare the student to take Keyboarding III, a more advanced typing course, to continually improve their typing skills as they prepare for online education and a world where typing is an essential skill in the Information Age. |

Overview
Summary | Keyboarding III is a two-unit elective that builds on the skills from Keyboarding I and II, with an emphasis on improving typing efficiency. |
Description | By the end of this course, students are expected to have a stronger grasp of proper finger placement and increased proficiency in typing letter and number combinations, advanced punctuation and symbols, and complete sentences and paragraphs. In addition, students will become more familiar with the Sermon on the Mount and the Upper Room Discourse. |

Keyboarding IV

Overview
Summary | Keyboarding IV is a two-unit elective that follows Keyboarding III. It focuses on sharpening typing speed and accuracy so that students can move through their coursework with greater ease. |
Description | Upon completion of the course, students will have a strong knowledge of advanced keyboarding skills with a typing speed of at least 22 WPM and 70% accuracy. In addition, students will become more familiar with Paul’s letters to the churches in Galatia and Ephesus. |
