Overview

In the event that a parent prefers for their newly enrolled student to take courses typically associated with younger grade levels, the parent may submit a Modified Progression Form. Enlightium Academy will review appeals and approve or deny them based on the data given. The Modified Progression Form is only available for students in grades PreK-8 or high school students requesting to take courses in middle school. Families may access the Modified Progression Form by emailing their counselor student’s counselor.

Process for Submitting the Form

The Admissions Department or the student’s counselor sends the parent the form. The parent completes and submits the form. Once the form is received, it is reviewed by Enlightium’s Intervention Team and one or more members of the Administration Team. The Intervention Team follows up with the family to discuss their next steps.
