Description | Explore the ever-changing world of digital and online media with Fundamentals of Digital Media. In this online, six-unit course, students in grades 9-12 explore potential career paths, study the popularity of social media and the social issues it generates, and strive to predict where the trend might lead. This CTE elective also examines the best online advertising techniques for businesses and compares how top online media companies compete with one another as the Internet industry continues to grow. Through course projects, students practice employing tools for interactive media production, including storyboarding, development, project management, and web processes. Legal and ethical issues are also covered. |
