Description | This course is designed to introduce middle and high school students to the fundamental concepts and skills necessary for creating visually appealing and impactful designs. With hands-on projects, creative exploration, and digital tools, students will be given challenging, real-world projects and assignments typical of the graphic design industry. They will also watch student workshops in which students work through each weekly assignment with a teacher. Students will also be asked to do a final "branding" project where they will create their own brand, logo, and campaign. Graphic Design 101 has short video lessons by a professional graphic designer. Each week, students will be given hands-on assignments teaching the concepts they have learned with each lesson and a student workshop. |
