Description | Through a look at the land and the people who live there, students are introduced not only to modern-day culture but are able to trace its origin to the events and movements that molded it. As students learn more about people, places, and cultures outside of the United States, they will also study the land and its geography with an emphasis on latitude and longitude, the hemispheres, and regional differences and similarities.
