Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) Program

• Arizona students in grades K-12 qualify for Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship Account program. See our blog, “Learn More About the Arizona Voucher Payment Program,” for more information.
• Enlightium Academy is an approved provider for the scholarship, which means you may be entitled to receive $4,000-$9,000* per student each year to help pay your tuition.
  • *Amounts are based on published full-year award amounts for the 2022-2023 school year. Enlightium Academy cannot guarantee specific awards for any student.

• The funds can be used to offset or completely cover a premium teacher support package at Enlightium Academy, such as the Gold and Diamond packages. Additionally, funds may be able to roll over to the next school year, allowing a family to choose different packages each year (such as the Silver Package one year and the Diamond Package the next).
• The deadline to sign an ESA contract and receive funding for the entire school year is September 30th, and it can take up to 30 days to process new applications. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until June 30th. Families who apply after September 30th may still be eligible to receive prorated funding for the remainder of the school year. For example, families who sign ESA contracts in Quarter 2 will receive funding for Quarter 2.

Please note that Enlightium cannot guarantee award amounts for any given student. Parents are responsible for any tuition or fees owed to Enlightium that are not covered by their student’s ESA.

• Primary School:
  • Pay off your current tuition entirely. 
  • Purchase books directly from AOP or BJU Press using ESA funds. Contact the bookseller to find out how. Books cannot be purchased from Enlightium.
  • Note that students under the age of five are usually not eligible for the ESA.
• Elementary School: 
  • Upgrade to the Gold* or Diamond** package. 
  • Offset the cost of the Sapphire Live package.*** 
  • Pay off your current standard tuition entirely.
• Middle School: 
  • Upgrade to the Gold package.**
  • Offset the cost of the Diamond** or Sapphire Live*** package.
  • Pay off your current standard tuition entirely.
• High School: 
  • Upgrade to the Gold.* 
  • Offset the cost of the Diamond** package.
  • Pay off your current standard tuition entirely.
