Enlightium–GCU Partnership

  • Through the Canyon Christian Schools Consortium agreement, Enlightium Academy partners with Grand Canyon University (GCU) to provide Enlightium families with scholarships and/or discounted tuition.
    • GCU is a great option for high school students who want to participate in our Dual Enrollment program and take college courses online at a reduced rate.
    • GCU courses are available online and in person.

Benefits to Enlightium Students

  • Enlightium students in grades 9–12 who meet eligibility requirements are offered:
    • Dual enrollment courses at GCU for as low as $52.50 per credit hour.
    • $4,000 per year (while living on the GCU campus) or $1,500 per year (while living off campus). This could save students up to $16,000 in college tuition over four years. (This is contingent on the student graduating from Enlightium Academy.)
    • Access to GCU’s premier Christian academic summer camps at a minimum 10% discount.

Benefits to Parents of Enlightium Students

  • Enlightium parents who meet all eligibility requirements will have access to a 10% scholarship providing savings toward tuition and fees for online undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree programs, along with non-degree single courses.
    • Parents can qualify if they:
      • Have a student actively enrolled at Enlightium, or
      • Have a student who graduated from Enlightium and is actively attending GCU.

Benefits to Enlightium Staff

  • Enlightium staff who meet all eligibility requirements will have access to a 10% scholarship providing savings toward tuition and fees for online undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree programs, along with non-degree single courses.
    • Spouses of staff can qualify for a 5% scholarship.
  • Discounts are also available for GCU events sponsored by Educational Development.
