Spring Standardized Assessments (Grades PreK-12)

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Standardized Assessment Overview

  • Standardized tests are designed to demonstrate to the parents and students whether the student is performing at grade-appropriate and age-appropriate levels.

  • The test also demonstrates the performance of the class, which helps the school assess the effectiveness of its teaching methods.

  • The results will help Enlightium administration identify and address areas of strength and areas needing improvement to better serve our students.

  • The test results will not affect their current grades at Enlightium Academy.

  • Note: Makeup days are not available if students miss one or more tests.

Does My Student Need to Take a Spring Assessment?

  • Not all students are required or able to take a Spring assessment through Enlightium.

    • The Iowa Complete annual assessment for students in grades PreK-8 who live in a state that requires or recommends a standardized assessment.

    • Guidance for college-preparatory assessments to students in grades 9-12.
