Alabama's CHOOSE Act

• Alabama students meeting certain requirements may be eligible to participate in Alabama’s CHOOSE Act. We have a dedicated blog page with more information.
• Enlightium Academy is an approved education service provider for the scholarship, which means families may receive up to $2,000 per student or $4,000 per household to spend on approved expenses.
• The funds can be used to cover the cost of Enlightium’s homeschool programs (AOP, BJU, or Bronze programs), or offset the cost of a teacher-led package (such as the Silver, Silver+, Gold, or Diamond packages).
• New families will need to apply for the CHOOSE Act in the spring to receive funding for the upcoming school year.

Grades PreK-2:

• Pay off your current tuition entirely.

• Purchase books directly from AOP using ESA funds. Contact the bookseller to find out how. Books cannot be purchased from Enlightium.

• BJU Press curriculum may not be available through the CHOOSE Act. Please confirm with ClassWallet if BJU Press purchases will be covered by this program.

• Note that students must turn five by September 1 to be eligible for the CHOOSE Act.

Grades 3-12:

• Pay off your Bronze tuition entirely.

• Offset the cost of a teacher-led package (see options below).
