Visit Washington D.C. With Joshua Expeditions (Grades 9-12)
What is Joshua Expeditions?
| - Enlightium Academy has partnered with Joshua Expeditions for a 5-day tour of Washington DC in March of 2025.
- Students and their families can travel to Washington DC for tours with certified guides, Enlightium staff and faculty, and other Enlightium families.
- Currently enrolled high school students and their families (one or more parents/legal guardians and optionally one or more high-school-aged siblings) are eligible to register. Parents are recommended but not required to register.
- Participation is optional.

What do Families Pay For?
| - Enlightium provides a link to register and make payments directly to Joshua Expeditions.
- Pricing for participating in a school trip with Joshua Expeditions is separate from tuition. Discounts are available depending on how many participants sign up for a tour.
- Optional cancellation insurance is available.
- Joshua Expeditions provides on-site transportation, food, and lodging.
- Families pay for travel to and from the location.

| - Registration dates: February 21 - September 30, 2024
- Early registration: February 13 - March 31, 2024: each participant receives a limited edition Enlightium Academy in Washington DC t-shirt.
- Standard registration: April 1 - September 30, 2024.
- No late registration will be available.
- Event dates: Monday, March 24 - Friday, March 28, 2025

Event Cost
| - The event cost is based on the number of participants:
16 registrants (such as eight students and eight parents/guardians) = cost is $2,625 per person 24 registrants (such as 12 students and 12 parents/guardians) = cost is $2,345 per person 40 registrants (such as 20 students and 20 parents/guardians) = cost is $2,100 per person
- Each month, Enlightium’s team will keep all registrants and eligible participants notified of the total number of registrants and the total cost per person.
- Enlightium chaperones do not count towards the above number of registrants.
- Joshua Expeditions requires a non-refundable $200 down payment per registrant at the time of registration.
- Cancel-anytime insurance is available and provided through Joshua Expeditions.
- All payments for this event are made directly to Joshua Expeditions.

Your Next Steps
| - Eligible families will receive an email with a link to get started. You will need to complete the registration form in its entirety once per participant; ex: if a parent is attending with their child, they would submit the registration form twice.
- Review the dates above to ensure that your family registers before the deadline.
- Registered families will receive an invitation to join a private group in the Enlightium Parents app for the Washington DC trip. Updates will be provided within that group.
- Joshua Expeditions will contact each family directly concerning payment plans.
