About Robotel
This year, we are so excited to launch a new world language program called Robotel for German and Spanish classes. This program is great because it is immersive, and we can already see many students speaking the languages! We also understand that because it is a new program, there may be questions and possible challenges. Below, you will find some answers to frequently asked questions as well as resources that may be helpful. If you have any additional questions or if we can support your student in any way, please do not hesitate to reach out. We value your feedback! |
How can my Student Sign Into Robotel?
Your student will go to this link and then sign in using their Ignitia username and password. |
The Content is all in Spanish and German. Help!
This program is immersive, so students will jump right into speaking and listening. We want to provide resources to help students feel more comfortable and to explain more grammar concepts and vocabulary. If you select the language on the world languages tab in Livebinder, then you will see many helpful resources. These resources were collected by Enlightium teachers. If your student ever has other questions, let us know. Also, please know that we understand that speaking a language is challenging, so as we are grading, we provide feedback but also show grace to students. We want your student to feel confident in the learning process. |
How can my Student Know Which Assignments to Complete?
In Ignitia, there is a placeholder course that shows students which assignment needs to be completed in Robotel each day. Ignitia will keep students on track with their due dates. |
How can my Student ask for Help?
Students can send messages directly to their teacher via Ignitia. Parents and students are also welcome to email teachers. You can learn more about the teacher and their contact information by clicking on their welcome letters. We are here to help! |
What can I do if the Recording Option is not Working for my Student?
Here is a link that has Robotel Orientation information; much of this information can also be found in Ignitia for students. At the bottom, there is a section with suggestions for audio. Please reach out if your student needs further support. |
How can my Student Check Their Grades?
The grades will be found in Robotel. After signing in, students can see a button in the top right corner near their avatar that says “My Performance”. On that page, there is a button in the top left called “usage report”. If you click there they can see progress, grades, time spent in Robotel, and more. |
Can my Student Complete Extra Credit in their Robotel Course?
The world language department sends out a monthly newsletter to students with extra credit opportunities and more. This will be sent to students in Ignitia. |
