Tax ID Number and 1098-T Statement

Keep in mind, that even though a handful of states have tax benefits for private school enrollment, a Tax ID is not required for those credits. A Tax ID is only needed to receive federal credits on college tuition.
For some students living outside of the United States, a Tax ID may be needed. You can ask your accounting professional if you have questions regarding this. Students in the United States or its territories will not need the Tax ID.

Enlightium Academy will not be issuing 1098-T statements, since only colleges and universities provide those statements. If you need your history of payments from the previous calendar year, email billing@enlightiumacademy.com to request a statement.
As a K-12 institution, Enlightium Academy does issue 1098-T statements. Only colleges and universities provide these statements. You will receive a statement of the amounts paid in your email at the start of the calendar year. This will include any amounts paid in the prior calendar year (not the school year) for you to reference. If you do not receive this or need your history of payments from a previous calendar year, email billing@enlightiumacademy.com to request a statement.
