Naviance CCLR Video Lessons
While the majority of students today aspire to go on to college, many do not know the specific steps required to reach their goals. And many schools or districts do not have easy-to-use resources to help develop an actionable plan for achieving students' goals. The Naviance College & Career Readiness curriculum is a blended learning solution for students in grades 6–12 that helps them develop critical, non-cognitive skills and college knowledge. It instills confidence, empowering students to persevere and achieve their long-term college and career goals.
Please note that even if you are interested in taking advantage of these excellent video lessons, you may not be required to watch all 16 Naviance CCLR lessons. Review the expectations below:
Grades 6–8: students are only expected to complete the first 5 video lessons. Students who complete 5 or more lessons will receive a certificate at the end of the year.
Grades 9–10: students are only expected to complete the first 10 video lessons. Students who complete 10 or more lessons will receive a certificate at the end of the year.
Grades 11–12: check your high school plan. If you see Naviance CCLR on your high school plan you are expected to complete all the lessons and tests to meet graduation requirements and you will receive High School credit for the Naviance CCLR lessons upon completion.
Enlightium Academy meets the national standard placed on schools to provide students with a basic understanding of College, Career and Life Readiness. The video lessons are not difficult and there is no wrong answer to the questions after the videos. The lessons are designed to help students think about topics, like:
