Our counselors appreciate your patience as they work to support each of their students in a timely fashion. Please note:
- If you need to initiate contact with your student’s counselor, use their email (preferably) and expect 2-3 business days for a response. During the peak seasons for enrollment and course scheduling, expect up to five business days for a response.
- If you have an emergency, please reach out to our staff and faculty and they will assist you in setting up an emergency Calendly appointment with your student’s counselor.
Mrs. Angie Van Egdom, M.Ed.

 | Mrs. Van Egdom has been a high school counselor with Enlightium Academy since 2018. She holds her counseling certification from Washington State and ACSI. During her undergrad, she worked as an Academic Advisor for the college preparatory program TRIO Upward Bound. There her passion for working with high school students grew. Mrs. Van Egdom obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington, then later attended Whitworth University to obtain her Master of Education in School Counseling. Growing up, the value of education was instilled in Mrs. Van Egdom, and she wishes to do the same with her students while also building a trusting relationship and sharing the love of Christ with them. One of her favorite things to do outside of work is spending time with her husband and their fur baby, Rachel. Over the past couple of years, Mrs. Van Egdom has embraced new hobbies like collecting house plants, cooking and baking new recipes to try, exploring new places, strength training, and paddleboarding. |
