Our counselors appreciate your patience as they work to support each of their students in a timely fashion. Please note:
- If you need to initiate contact with your student’s counselor, use their email (preferably) and expect 2-3 business days for a response. During the peak seasons for enrollment and course scheduling, expect up to five business days for a response.
- If you have an emergency, please reach our staff and faculty contact and they will assist you in setting up an emergency Calendly appointment with your student’s counselor.

 | Mrs. Whitaker graduated from Liberty University in 2021 with a Master’s of Education in School Counseling. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in 2017 from Guilford College, majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in African American Studies. Mrs. Whitaker has always been committed to helping and guiding youth toward positive achievement. She started her career as a state licensed School Counselor in elementary and has also worked with high school students as an intern. She began her new career with Enlightium Academy serving high school students during the 2021-2022 school year. Mrs. Whitaker is ACSI certified. Mrs. Whitaker is married with two daughters. She enjoys spending time with family telling stories, laughing, and playing games. She also loves cooking (feeding people) and going on vacation. She is passionate about encouraging students to be their best selves while gaining an education that can be carried through any life journey. |
