- Enlightium’s Reading Program gives students the opportunity to read books outside of school hours and earn extra credit in English Language Arts (ELA) while discovering great stories.

Getting Started
 | Choosing your book Choose books from your grade-level recommended reading list below. Be sure the book is at the appropriate reading level for you. We carefully reviewed these books for both difficulty level and content appropriateness. You can find details about the reading difficulty, links to the book at our Enlightium Sora library (when available), and links to Common Sense Media reviews of books on the book list page.
Follow these three simple steps:- Read a book from your approved reading list at your level.
- Create a book report using one of the creative project options provided.
- Submit this form to upload your book report and provide the required information.
Once everything is submitted, we’ll review it and apply your extra credit! |
Frequently Asked Questions
 | How much extra credit can I earn? You can earn up to 3% extra credit toward your ELA class each year. - Each completed book = 0.75% extra credit
- That means you can earn credit for up to four books
How do I find my reading level? Use this link to help determine your reading level. We recommend choosing books from your grade-level list, as those selections have been reviewed and approved for difficulty and age-appropriate content. Parents or guardians are encouraged to help students select books that are a good fit. Where can I find the books?
