Student Webinars
During September, Enlightium will be hosting several webinars:
Grades PreK-5: Etiquette Series: Manners Matter. This four-part series will give students the opportunity to discuss the importance of treating others with respect, establishing a code of conduct, and navigating social situations that will, as a result, establish a sense of self-respect that they can continue to foster into adulthood.
Grades 6-12: Digital Citizenship: Balancing Life with Technology. This four-part series will give students the opportunity to discuss how technology, such as smartphones and social media, should be viewed as tools to occasionally be used, and not as a key part of their day-to-day lives.
Grades 9-12: Importance and Benefits of Attending College. What will you do after high school? Have you considered attending college? There are so many options and so many decisions to make. On September 4, we’ll re-release a recording of this helpful webinar, and you can email your counselor if you have any questions.
Grades 9-12: Preparing for a College Fair. Learn how to best prepare for a College Fair, such as visiting colleges beforehand to make sure you find the right fit for you.
Trade schools can be a valuable pathway for students seeking practical skills and rewarding careers. In this webinar discussing trade schools, we’ll discuss who benefits most from trade school education, how families can research programs effectively, and what to consider when comparing opportunities. We’ll also explore scholarships, financial aid, and ways to plan ahead so students can confidently take their next step after high school. On September 23, we’ll release a new video on how trade schools can open doors to a successful future.
Calling all seniors! We know the FAFSA can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to tackle it alone. Join our upcoming webinar to learn how to apply and hear the most recent updates that will make the process smoother for you. A link to join can be found in students’ September Engage Enlightium email.

A Message from the Principal’s Office (The Online Program)
We hope you are all having a wonderful start to the school year! It has been so wonderful getting to connect with so many students already as the school year gets underway.
We want to encourage your students to please reach out to their teachers through Ignitia or Canvas if they have any questions, and they are happy to help! We also want to encourage students to read the welcome messages from their teachers, as teachers have lots of helpful resources for students.
We wish you a wonderful and blessed start to the new school year!
